About the project

Since 2014, Pirelli has been the sponsor of Christ the Redeemer, financing its restoration and conservation works, as well as supporting social projects related to the monument.

Continuing our commitment to maintaining this heritage, we decided to create the Open Arms digital platform, showing Brazil's most famous icon as never seen before.

Through Google's Street View technology, visitors can navigate the inside and admire the view of the city from various points of view of the tour with an exclusive content. And the best part: once at the heart of our greatest protector, the visitor can click and see inspiring stories of people who, like Christ the Redeemer, are with open arms, taking care of Brazil and Brazilians every day.
