Julio is a chef and 1 year ago he decided to use his ability to help homeless people.
After having seen a flash mob of thousand of musicians playing ‘foo fighters’ to call the attention of the band, he got inspired and decided to do the same with cooks calling the crowd to help those in need.
In his opinion he did not gather thousand of cooks, but in this episode they served over a thousand meals. Since then the collective kept only growing.
Besides Canoes today they already operate in 4 more cities. They feed homeless people, deliver clothing and personal hygiene objects, promote Christmas suppers for them and even birthday parties for children. Totally
