Sandra Marques - Assuma Sustentability (Campinas, SP)
The ASSUMA project was created in 2014 by Sandra and a group of volunteers that intended to turn their neighborhood, Joaquim Egídio, into a better place. They teach various classes, promote workshops, film sessions, among many other activities to enhance local knowledge and practices.
The activities developed by ASSUME aim to identify, rediscover and enhance the local economic potential, with participation of the community. It also promotes social life, cultural, artistic and educational discussions, as well as care for the environment.
